Update on Mocha
Mocha is now almost 1 week post-op from her latest surgery. She is doing great, with the exception of the 3 sutures
she pulled out . No nausea after this surgery, totally normal behavior. She was throwing balls at us the night of her surgery.
The tough part now is trying to keep her semi-calm until her sutures come out next week. Still no news on the biopsy
report, will post when I get the results. Java comes home 2 weeks tomorrow! Word from the breeder
is that all of the puppies are weaned and are learning potty times. Can't wait until the new addition to Team CoffeeDogs
is here!

TeamCoffeeDogs News
Well, 2010 has brought bad news and good news to the CoffeeDogs. Let's start with the bad: 1. Kona will
not be having puppies. After completing all of her health clearances, having a stud lined up, Kona is infertile.
We're not sure if there was just a problem with this cycle or whether she was always infertile. She will be getting
spayed within the next few months, when the vet thinks it's appropriate. 2. Mocha has another tumor.
It started as what was thought to be a vaccine reaction. After medications and 2 needle aspirates, there are too many
mast cells present. She is having surgery Friday, 2-5-10.
Now the good news! A new CoffeeDog will be
joining the family! After finding out that Kona cannot have puppies, I decided to purchase a puppy from the breeder
I was going to stud Kona with. Java was born 1-6-10 and will be coming home 2-25-10. Her official, registered
name will be "Happy CoffeeDogs Jumping Java." Check out the pictures page for a preview!
